Our Sunday Run

The 3 musketeers did the 30km Pearl Izumi Series Run last Sunday. It started at Changi Village. We then ran along the coastal road where we watched planes take off. Made me wish that I was going on a holiday :)

It was a scenic run. Very green. Marlene communicated with the birds in the trees and named a plant (cat's tail), and entertained me with stories of her childhood days in Switzerland to help distract me from my painful foot during the run. All in a days work Marlene!

Oh and we were given a terrible tasting blue drink during the course, Bleah! I drank every drop thinking it was good for me and kept burping up a yucky taste ;P

It was a wake up call for me! Hafiz was fast and Marlene could have been running alongside him BUT she kindly stuck with slow me. Merci Marlene! I would have walked alot more without you!
