Case studies are included to give you an idea of the cases that can be treated at Physio Solutions :)
49 year old complains of left chest pain, pain in the region between his neck and shoulder, and left arm. He had visited many specialists and GPs. Xrays, scans, scopes and ECGs has been done. These rule out heart attack and gastrointestinal problems. Long term cholesterol medication had caused "muscle injury" as he reports what his Dr had told him.
With careful questioning and physical examination, his Physiotherapist found that his arm pain was contributed by the nerves at his neck, and his chest pain originated from the nerves at the Thoracic (upper back) spine.
His physiotherapy treatment included spinal mobilisations and manipulations (visit the Physio Solutions website to read about this in further detail), nerve stretches, taping and a home exercise program.
He had significant decrease in his pains after 2 sessions. After 5 sessions this patient has been discharged pain free and armed with a simple exercise and stretching program to prevent the pain returning.
