I spent this weekend at the Podiatry Symposium 2008. Physiotherapists work closely with podiatrists. Podiatrists are health care professionals who specialize in the foot.
The symposium included lectures about the growing foot and the foot in sports. There were excellent lectures about the latest techniques in foot surgery.
I learnt alot about foot orthotics and how it is crucial to get a well made orthotic for a particular foot problem.
